Starting with April 1, we will pay more for electricity
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) approved, on Friday, 18 new electricity tariffs for final consumers.
Thus, from April 1, in the center and south of the country, electricity for household consumers will cost 2 lei and 17 bani, by 67 bani more.
At the same time, household consumers in the north of the country will pay 2 lei and 51 bani instead of 2 lei and 4 bani for a kilowatt-hour.
The executive said it was already developing a mechanism to offset electricity tariffs for low-income people, and government support could be directly indicated in the bill.
We remind you that the electricity tariffs were adjusted last at the end of January 2021.
