In several European countries, new restrictions are being imposed

In Europe, the restrictions are back. Italy has tightened sanitary security measures in taxis, trains and buses as a result of the growing number of cases of Coronavirus. Germany could also impose the COVID-19 certificate for public transport. In Belgium, the protective mask must also be worn by children aged nine and over, and employees return to telework. In Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky promises money to those who are vaccinated against COVID, informs Moldova 1.

838 Ukrainians have been killed by the virus in the last 24 hours. It is the largest balance sheet since the beginning of the pandemic, making Ukraine the second country in the world with the most new daily deaths, after Russia. With a faulty public health system and a low vaccination rate, President Volodymyr Zelenski has announced a budget of 200 million euros for a financial reward for all those who are immunized against COVID-19.

"Each person who received two doses will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnia," said the Ukrainian president.

"Vaccinated people can then spend this amount on a gym membership, to go to the cinema, theater, museum or to pay for a domestic train or plane trip. This will help the worst-affected industries," Zelenski said.

As a result of the growing number of cases of Coronavirus, Italy has tightened its health safety measures in transport. Only two passengers can sit in the back seat of a taxi if they are not from the same family, and trains can be stopped if there are passengers with COVID symptoms.

At the same time, in important stations such as Milan, Rome or Florence, the "green passport" will be checked before boarding the train. In buses and trams, the front door will be opened when there is a protective wall between the driver and passengers, and masks remain mandatory.

Anti-epidemic measures are also returning in Belgium. The face mask becomes mandatory indoors from the age of nine, teleworking returns, discos close, and indoor sports activities will be canceled for at least three weeks.
