Italy requires compulsory vaccination for people over 50 years of age

Italy has decided to introduce compulsory vaccination for all people over the age of 50 after yesterday's new record of COVID infections, almost 190,000 cases. France is ready to adopt an unprecedented measure to allow doctors infected with Sars-CoV-2 to continue to treat patients. Bulgaria is tightening conditions on entering the country, and the United Kingdom, on the contrary, has announced the relaxation of the restrictions imposed on arrival, Moldova 1 reports.

The Italian government claims that it has introduced this measure to reduce the pressure on hospitals, given that people over the age of 50 are at the highest risk of becoming infected.

In Romania, the number of cases has increased almost three times in a single week, in these conditions, the protective mask becomes mandatory again, including outdoors.

"At the bus station, on the subway, on the street, when he walks past you, the mask will be worn. It will be worn on the street, except when you have individual activities," said Raed Arafat, head of the Emergency Department.

France could become the first country in Europe to allow Covid-infected doctors to treat patients if they have only very mild symptoms or are asymptomatic. Authorities believe that this measure is necessary for the maintenance of hospitals and asylums.

The Czech Republic has announced a five-day reduction in the quarantine period for people confirmed with Covid-19 to protect the administration and the economy from collapse.

The UK is easing restrictions on arrival.

Those coming to the country will have to undergo a PCR or antigen test no later than 48 hours after arriving in England. And those vaccinated are no longer required to remain in isolation until the results are known.

In Bulgaria, however, as of Friday, all passengers are required to have a negative PCR test, along with a valid COVID-19 certificate.
