War in Ukraine: Hotels in Zatoka have turned into ruins
Hotels in Zatoka have turned into ruins. Until the war, the Ukrainian resort was one of the most popular summer holiday destinations on the Black Sea coast. As a result of the Russian bombings, many hotel complexes were ruined, informs Moldova 1 TV.
Ukrainian authorities say such blows to civilian infrastructure are classified as war crimes and are documented by law enforcement.
"According to preliminary estimates, the Kh-22 rocket hit a mass of about a tonne of explosives. Hence the massive destruction. The use of such weapons against this building is absolutely unjustified ", said Alexei Umaneţ, the prosecutor of Odessa.
Hotel employees say only two guards were there during the bombing.
"There is no strategic point. They are regular recreation centers that operate in the summer season. Nobody is coming in the winter. "
"There have always been tourists here. The Belarusians were coming, but so were our citizens. "
The Russian military says it is not targeting civilian targets, but in recent weeks, many Ukrainian cities have been razed to the ground or reduced to rubble.
