Spain and the Republic of Moldova could cooperate in the field of renewable energy
The Head of State, Maia Sandu, discussed in Prague with the President of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sánchez. The president thanked for supporting the decision to grant the status of a candidate country for EU accession and welcomed the signing of the bilateral agreement in the field of social insurance, expected by tens of thousands of Moldovans working in Spain.
The discussion focused on potential areas of collaboration, including renewable energy and the processing industry, by attracting Spanish investments to the Republic of Moldova, and on opportunities to increase Moldovan exports to Spain.
