MP Marina Tauber, banned from leaving the country, caught at Tel Aviv airport

Şor Party MP Marina Tauber, who is banned from leaving the country, being suspected of fraud and money laundering in particularly large proportions, left for Israel. Prosecutors say they rejected her request to leave the country, but the magistrates of the Chisinau Court admitted her request, Radio Moldova reports.

After netizens posted a photo of her at Tel Aviv Airport, Marina Tauber wrote on social media that she had gone to Israel for medical examinations.

Prosecutors have appealed the decision of the investigating judge to the Chisinau Court of Appeal, which is to rule on its legality.

According to the sources of the Anticoruptie.md portal, the magistrate who allowed Marina Tauber to go to Israel is Elizaveta Buzu.

At the end of May, Marina Tauber was banned from leaving the country for a period of 60 days. This after she was left without parliamentary immunity, as she was suspected of fraud and money laundering in the bank fraud case.
