Tatiana Molcean, the new ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Switzerland

Tatiana Molcean is the new ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Swiss Confederation. The President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, signed a decree in this regard.

"Ms. Molcean has quite a lot of experience in the diplomatic institution of our country, but the first as an ambassador. Together with Minister Oleg Ţulea and the presidential adviser on foreign policy, Aureliu Ciocoi, we discussed with her about the prospects of our country's collaboration with Switzerland, as well as we wished her success in carrying out her first diplomatic mission, mentioning the importance of strengthening cooperation relations with Switzerland, which has a significant role in European and international politics," reads a post published by the head of state on a social network.

TRM.MD recalls that Tatiana Molcean held the position of Secretary of State within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, headed by Oleg Ţulea.

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Swiss Confederation is located in Geneva and fulfills, by cumulation, the functions of the representation at the UN Office, the headquarters of the World Health Organization and other international organizations.
