36 children from Comrat hospitalized with food poisoning
Thirty six students from the gymnasium in Cioc-Maidan village were admitted to the hospital last night. In total, 120 students with the ages between 8 and 15 years were examined. All 36 are admitted to the hospital for infectious diseases in Comrat, Radio Moldova reports.
According to the the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the preventive cause would be food poisoning.
TRM.MD recalls that the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection was notified last night about the mass food poisoning in the gymnasium in Cioc-Maidan village, Comrat.
It was requested to provide medical care to the children admitted to the hospital and if needed to be transferred to the republican medical institutions, as well as to check the health of all the children in the gymnasium, the teachers and other employees of the institution.
Initially it was announced that the number of intoxicated children was 20, and then it rose to 30 and lately to 36.
