Five hospitals in Moldova will benefit from medical devices purchased by the Government of Japan
Five medical institutions from the Republic of Moldova will benefit from medical devices that will be purchased from the non-refundable financial assistance offered by the Government of Japan, worth about 8 million euros. The Parliament approved in two readings the agreement with the Government of Japan regarding the implementation of the Medical System Consolidation Program.
The medical devices will be intended for the Institute of Emergency Medicine, "Timofei Moşneaga" Republican Clinical Hospital, the Mother and Child Institute, the Oncological Institute, the "Sfânta Treime" Municipal Hospital, which provides medical assistance to a large number of patients, including refugees from Ukraine.
The implementation period of the Grant Agreement is until August 31, 2026, but may be extended.
