Novo-Dnestrovsk complex has a significant impact on the Nistru River
The Nistru Hydropower Complex in Novo-Dnestrovsk, Ukraine, has had a negative impact on the hydrobiology of the Nistru River. The data were presented in a study conducted at the request of UNDP Moldova, and prepared by a group of independent experts, at the request of the Ministry of Environment, with the financial support of Sweden.

At the same time, the project developed proposals to improve the situation, namely restoring the Nistru waters to a good state ", said the coordinator of the Project" Study of social and environmental impact of the Nistru hydropower complex use in Novo-Dnestrovsc, Ukraine" , said Nadejda Chilaru.
