Corneliu Durnescu is the new director of the Moldova 1 television station

Journalist Corneliu Durnescu is the new Deputy General Manager of Teleradio-Moldova and the new head of the public television station Moldova 1. Previously, Corneliu Durnescu worked in several newsrooms. Corneliu Durnescu was presented today to the entire team of the television, by the general manager of TRM Company, Vlad Ţurcanu, Radio Moldova Actualitati reports.

Subsequently, the new TV director came before the Supervisory and Development Board to present the main priorities that will be achieved in the next period.

"We have made the schedule for the winter holidays, which is a priority. We will reform from the inside. Starting tomorrow, we will set up meetings with each department, we will set some very clear tasks and we will go to each show separately. We will make a good grid, competitive in the first place. For example, they bought good Turkish series that make an audience, but are given at 22:30. The newsroom must be in one space. It must be a community of reporters," said Corneliu Durnescu.

In this context, the chairman of the TRM Supervisory and Development Council, Arcadie Gherasim, mentioned that technical modernization, district correspondence and the polyethnic diversification of the program schedule are among the priorities of the Teleradio-Moldova Supervisory and Development Council for next year.

"Ensuring the functionality of a network of correspondents in the country and abroad in order to diversify the content of media and audiovisual services. We cannot fully inform if we only give news from Chisinau, to have at least about six or seven correspondence points, at least from the municipalities. Regarding the technical modernization of the Company, the hearing of the Radio and TV departments about the technical condition and the use of the equipment.
