Passes for public transport trips from Chisinau on sale
The new season tickets for the trolleybus and bus trip will be sold, starting today, in several locations in Chisinau, Chisinau City Hall announces.
According to the source, the season ticket is valid for both trolleybus and bus, including in the suburbs. Thus, the price of a subscription is 234 lei - for one month, 594 lei - for three months and 972 lei - for six months. The location of the season ticket sales points can be accessed both on the website of Regia Transport Electric Chişinău and on the website of the Urban Bus Park.
Also, according to the municipality, the categories of persons who benefit from free trips by public transport, from the capital, are: children up to seven years old, students of grades I-IV, pensioners for the age limit, people with disabilities, civil servants special status within the Ministry of Interior, carabineers on duty and members of the People's Guard registered in Chisinau.
Starting with July 1, the price of a trolleybus or bus ticket in Chisinau and in the suburbs will be 6 lei. The price for a maxi-taxi trip to Chisinau will be the same as 6 lei. The price will be valid within the city of Chisinau, and for traveling outside, people will pay 40 bani for each kilometer, but not more than 12 lei on the entire territory of Chisinau.
