From December 12, the train on the Chisinau-Bucharest route resumes
Starting with December 12, 2021, the train traffic on the Chisinau-Bucharest route will resume. Until December 31, the train will run twice a week, departing from Chisinau on Thursdays and Sundays, and from Bucharest on Mondays and Fridays.
From January 2, 2022, the train will run three times a week, departing from Chisinau on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from Bucharest on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The train leaves Chisinau at 5:20 p.m., arrives in Bucharest at 6:17 a.m., leaves Bucharest at 7:20 p.m., arrives in Chisinau at 8:15 a.m..
The cost of the trip remained the same - the SMART tariff (non-refundable) - 19 euros, the price of a ticket for the trip in the wagon with compartments - 580 lei, in the padded wagon 670 lei. Children between the ages of 4 and 12 will receive a discount of up to 40%.
Also, at Chisinau station, you can buy travel documents for trains running from Bucharest to Budapest, Sofia, Vienna and further with transhipment to any other routes in European countries.
Simultaneously with the start of the Chisinau-Bucharest train route, the daily traffic of the Iasi-Ungheni border train will resume.
TRM.MD recalls that, from March 2020 until now, the circulation of passenger trains in international traffic in the Republic of Moldova has been suspended.
