Cathedral Park will be modernized with the support of Buzau County
The Chisinau Municipal Council accepted donations worth 400,000 euros offered by the Buzau County Council, Romania, for two modernization projects of Chisinau. Thus, 350 thousand euros are to be allocated for the development and modernization of the Cathedral Park, and 50 thousand euros are planned for the capital repair of the underground pedestrian passage on Dacia Boulevard, intersection with bd. Traian and bd. Decebal from the Botanica sector.
The Pretor of the Buiucani sector, Vasile Moroi, rapporteur on the draft decision, said that based on the donation of the Buzău County Council, works will be carried out to rehabilitate the street lighting and install the irrigation system in the Cathedral Park.
The donation was offered as a result of the Cooperation Agreement between Buzau County in Romania and Chisinau Municipality in the Republic of Moldova, approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council in July 2021.
