Holy Fire reaches Chisinau
The Holy Fire reached Chisinau International Airport.
" Amid the epidemic that engulfed communities and countries all across the world, including Moldova, we hope that by the Holy Fire brought in the churches in Moldova, God will help us survive the temporary difficulties. We see that it is a very difficult year not only for our country, but for the whole world I hope that on the night of the Resurrection we will pray that this epidemic does not affect us much", said the Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, Vladimir.
"It is a difficult year, but I am confident that together we will overcome this challenge. May the Holy Fire warm the homes and hearts of every Christian in Moldova ", said the president Igor Dodon.
The Holy Fire is brought to Moldova this year for the 18th time. The Holy Fire was lit today at 13:50 in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
