The inauguration of the Independence Day holiday is delayed
The program of festive events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence is postponed by about an hour.
A statement from the presidency said the delay was caused by heavy fog over Chisinau airport, which prevented President Klaus Iohannis and Volodymyr Zelenskyy from landing in time.
According to the program, at 10:00, on the stage of the Grand National Assembly Square, the inauguration of the national holiday Independence Day was to begin, in the presence of the Moldovan leadership and foreign officials visiting our country: the President of Romania, the President of Ukraine and the President of Poland.
