Situation at the border: Increased and continuous flow at Giurgiulesti-Reni customs
The Border Police informs about the presence of an increased and continuous flow in PTF Giurgiuleşti-Reni, on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova. The rest of the border crossing points have minimum traffic values.
The peak hours, when there was an influx of passengers, were between 20:00 and 02:00.
With regard to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 9,583 crossings were recorded, of which 5,369 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 4,214 crossings out of the country. At the same time, 3,148 crossings were of Ukrainian minors up to and including 14 years old.
Since the beginning of the crisis, until 27.02.2022, at 24.00, 193,784 crossings were registered, a number of 103,356 being reported at the border with Romania, 88,713 at the border with Ukraine and 1,715 at the air border.
We remind you that until March 4, the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was closed, no flights are made through Chisinau International Airport.
