More and more Moldovans opt for the installation of solar panels

With the increase in the price of electricity, more and more Moldovans opt for the installation of solar panels. Also, in order to promote the use of renewable energy sources, the Parliament recently approved the simplification of the procedure for the installation and operation of photovoltaic power plants by domestic consumers. Thus, the time for installing the equipment will be reduced from half a year to one month, because citizens will no longer have to present some documents that were mandatory until now, Mesager reports.

=The man says that he bought a photovoltaic system three years ago. The process of completing the documents and installation lasted half a year.

"If in the summer they can produce 25-30 KW for a day, then in the winter they produce up to 5 KW. It usually happens that I pay in cold weather, in summer, basically, the invoices don't even come";

The man says that the advantage of such a system is even greater during the energy crisis.

"In a house of 75 square meters, it covers about 60-70 percent of my total electricity consumption. And once the prices rise, we only have to gain from this photovoltaic system";

Ion Macovei, another resident of the capital, has been studying the benefits of solar panels for a long time, in order to install them at home.

"I want to immediately purchase these panels for parents in the country, I intend to come with the proposal to the association of co-owners in the condominium to procure these solar panels and use them to illuminate our yard."

Experts claim that the installation of photovoltaic panels in households can reduce the cost of electricity bills to zero.

 "But with an additional investment, by installing a heat pump, you have zero for electricity and zero for thermal energy. At the moment, these investments recover from 7 to 15 years", claims Vladimir Ursu, expert.

Through the document recently approved by the Parliament, the urban planning certificate and the building permit for the design of green power plants, in the case of individual residential houses, were excluded. Also, the deadline for issuing the approval for the connection of low-capacity installations was reduced from 30 to 10 calendar days. In the Republic of Moldova there are around 500 household consumers who use solar panels.
