Smiles on sick children’s faces
The children with serious illnesses in the Oncology Institute and from the Children's House "Preafericitul Iosif” in Chisinau had fun and smiled. They were visited by students from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" who, besides gifts, performed songs and poems.
The children were impressed by the stories performed by the students.
Foreign students say they wanted to bring joy to sick children.
"Childhood is the age of dreams and it is our duty to help them, to demonstrate that dreams can become reality," said Reem Karawane, student from Israel.
"We came to do something good for the kids. I was glad that we made them smile, "said Serghei Stratev, Moldovan student.
"We decided to come with gifts, we believe that most of all these little children need support, love and much attention", said Argentina Chiriac, head of the department.
The children from the orphanage also performed a concert for their guests and then they danced together.
