Day of silence in three localities in the Republic of Moldova. On June 12, the citizens of Glinjeni, Zastînca and Gheltova will elect their mayor

The day of silence, according to the electoral legislation, is announced for the three villages of the Republic of Moldova, where on Sunday, June 12, the second round of the new elections will take place.

Therefore, on Saturday, June 11, in Glinjeni village, Falesti district, Ghetlova commune, Orhei district and Zastânca village, Soroca district, electoral campaigning is prohibited by law.

We remind you that on May 29, new local elections were held in ten localities for the election of mayors and local councils.

In three of them, none of the candidates met 50% + 1, so the second round was set for June 12.

In all, more than 6,500 voters are expected to vote.
