"Diaspora Days" are taking place in Chisinau
For two days, today and tomorrow, the "Diaspora Days" are taking place in Chisinau. The official ceremony will begin with the speech of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, reports Radio Moldova.
During the two days, the members of the diaspora who will participate in the event will have an open dialogue with the representatives of the authorities. In addition, they will have the opportunity to participate in two workshops on the promotion of the tourism product of the Republic of Moldova and a networking session between diaspora and native associations.
According to the Government, the need to organise "Diaspora Days" in the Republic of Moldova comes from the desire to create a mechanism for establishing development and collaboration relations with compatriots from abroad, and the development and promotion of traditional cultural and artistic dialogue.
