The export of Moldovan fruits and vegetables to Russia was partially stopped
The export of Moldovan fruits and vegetables to the Russian Federation was partially stopped, with the significant ruble depreciation in the last week. Particularly it is about apples, the main Moldovan product exported to Russia and whose main market is this country, reports Moldova 1.
The Russian ruble has depreciated by about 14%, and since the beginning of March - by 16%, and the trend is still on. Some 53,000 tons of apples were exported in the first two months of this year.
Moldova Fruct Association estimates show that in the country's fridges, at the beginning of March, 120,000 tons were stored.
