Exports from the Republic of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates on a rise

Exports from the Republic of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates continue to grow. According to official statistical data, in the first five months of this year, our country exported goods to the United Arab Emirates worth more than 1.3 million dollars, by 2.5 times more than in the same period of the previous year, declared for the national radio station, the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Abu Dhabi, Victor Haruţa.

"The most requested products are apples, pears, agricultural products in general. These products amount to almost one million dollars of exports from our country. We can also mention growing exports such as jams, dried fruits and other similar products", said Ambassador Victor Haruţa.

According to the ambassador, exports are mostly increasing as a result of the promotion activity undertaken and continues to be undertaken by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the United Arab Emirates and the state institutions involved in this process such as the Investment Agency and the relevant associations which are very active in the region.
