Germany will offer the Republic of Moldova a grant of 40 million euros. The document was signed in Chisinau
In Chisinau, the Financing Agreement was signed on the promotion of energy security of vulnerable groups through a grant from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the document provides for the granting of non-refundable budgetary support in the amount of 40 million euros to our country. The funds from the German development cooperation were promised by the Federal Government at the 2nd meeting of the support conference for the Republic of Moldova in July this year in Bucharest.
The financial means support Moldova in the implementation of the governmental program "Ajutor la contor". Within this program, the population will benefit from compensation in the energy bill during the cold season of November 2022 - March 2023, from the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund.
