The government will create a special fund for fuel and diesel fuel excise compensation for processing companies
The Ministry of Agriculture elaborated a decision, according to which a special fund worth 93 million lei will be created from the reserve fund to compensate for excise duties on fuel oil and diesel fuel used in production processes. It is about sugar factories and other factories that can switch from gas to fuel oil and diesel. This was announced on Monday by the Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Bolea in a briefing.
The minister mentioned that, currently, the state subsidizes 2.95 lei per liter of diesel for the amount of up to 64 tons used by an economic agent. "This means that the vast majority of small and medium-sized farmers will receive the diesel excise tax in full," the minister said.
Also, Vladimir Bolea mentioned that the Ministry of Agriculture is ready to intervene in the relations of farmers with the tax service, with banks and with economic agents to solve current problems.
