Moldova to receive more than three million dollars from the World Bank
Moldova could receive $ 3.48 million from the World Bank to limit the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Moldova reports 1.
The Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission approved the initiation of negotiations for a Grant Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Development Association, for the additional financing of the "Emergency Response to COVID-19" project.
According to the document, the money will be directed to increase testing and laboratory capacity, purchase additional mobile X-ray diagnostic systems, and provide training for medical workers. The grant agreement will be implemented by January 31, 2021.
