Over 690 million lei, received from the state budget for a week

Revenues of over 690 million lei were collected from the state budget by the Customs Service last week, which means 99 percent more than the budget burden set for this period.

According to a press release issued by the Customs Service, during the last week, about 93 thousand people entered the Republic of Moldova. Of these, 1,400 individuals introduced goods whose customs value exceeds the non-taxable limit, being collected payments amounting to over 25 million lei, which represents 3.6% of the total amount collected for that period.

Over the past week, more than 13,000 customs declarations have been made. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 11,631 and 7,188 crossings, respectively.

In the fight against fraud, 205 violations of customs legislation were found during the period and fines amounting to over 349 thousand lei were applied. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action.
