Fuel prices have been raised again

On the evening of April 16, some oil companies once again raised fuel prices, just over a month after the last increase. Gasoline with octane number A95 rose from 19.25 lei to 19.95 lei, and the price of standard diesel increased by 0.30 lei, reaching 16.24 lei per liter. Liquefied gas is 0.06 lei more expensive.

"It was a period when the world price dropped by 15%, but there was no decrease in figures at our gas stations," wrote DA Platform Deputy Alexandru Slusari on his Facebook page.

In this context, the DA Platform requests the urgent convening of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance for the hearing of ANRE and the Competition Council.

At the end of last week, the Parliament voted, in the final reading, a bill that provides for the capping of fuel prices. According to the document, this process will be supervised by ANRE.
