Agro-industrial week, at the 38th edition
New opportunities for farmers. This year, the agro-industrial week will bring together 50 companies from the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine that will present their modern equipment and machinery, as well as farmers eager to purchase them. The exhibitions and fairs are organized by the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo", with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. This year, the exhibitions "Moldagrotech" and "Farmer 2020" will take place in a new format and in a new location, reports Moldova 1.
For the first time, the Agro-Industrial Week, traditionally organized by the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo", will take place in the open field, due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. The event, which takes place between October 14-17, will include the International Specialized Exhibition "Moldagrotech", the Exhibition-Fair "Farmer" and the Fair "Golden Autumn". Dozens of modern equipment, high-performance irrigation systems, but also products from farmers' farms will be on display.
A combine that performs four operations at the same time, intended for soil preparation before sowing, can be admired, tested and even bought during the exhibition.
The host of the event, the "Porumbeni" Institute of Phytotechnics, made available to the organizers a plot of land over four thousand square meters, where more than 50 companies will present their offers and products.
This year, in addition to the traditional seminars and training, the organizers are preparing new surprises.
"Behind the scenes, there will be a presentation of agricultural technology, we will have a presentation of drones, which are used in agriculture, to measure the spraying of the land," said the event's organizer, Corina Chiper.
The agro-industrial week is in its 38th edition.
