The exchange of goods between Great Britain and Moldova will be simplified
The exchange of goods between Great Britain and the Republic of Moldova will be simplified. Exporters from both countries will be able to deliver their goods safely, after the two states signed a strategic partnership, trade and cooperation agreement. The project was developed by the British authorities in the context of Britain's exit from the European Union (EU), reports Moldova 1.
"A crucial agreement for bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom. It is the transposition of the Association Agreement and of the Free Trade Agreement that the Republic of Moldova has with the EU on the bilateral relations between Moldova and Great Britain," declared Minister Aureliu Ciocoi.
"This agreement clearly sets out our common goals. Exporters will be able to operate safely. This agreement provides stability between the relations between Great Britain and the Republic of Moldova and will also help both countries to recover from the pandemic," said the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova, Steven Fisher.
