Vadim Ceban: Delivering natural gas only to the Transnistrian region is not possible

The Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova cannot receive natural gas directly from Gazprom, the director of the Moldovagaz company, Vadim Ceban told Radio Moldova.

According to him, this cannot be achieved as long as the legal norms of the Republic of Moldova regarding the sharing of types of activity, licensing and certification of the operator of the gas transportation network will not be implemented on the territory of this region.

"According to this contract, it is still not possible. There, the contract covers both banks and, respectively, the entire Republic of Moldova and all consumers. If there are limitations, our systems are interdependent, that's why we can't each act in its own direction, we have to join our efforts because we are interdependent, we have never left the consumers on the left side of the Nistru and respectively the Cuciurgan Power Plant, Moldovagaz has always gone ahead to help", said Vadim Ceban.

We remind you that yesterday the so-called head of the Executive from Tiraspol, Alexandr Rozenberg said that he discussed with the Moscow authorities regarding the delivery of natural gas only for the region on the left of the Nistru. However, this is not possible, since all natural gas deliveries are made through the Republic of Moldova, and the Transnistrian region will not receive gas without the participation of Moldovagaz.
