Prime Minister: Revenues of the state budget in 2019 exceeded those in 2018
The revenues of the state budget in 2019 exceeded those of 2018 by 3.7 billion lei. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Ion Chicu on the Facebook page, reports Moldova 1.
The PM Ion Chicu said that the revenues accumulated by the Tax Service increased by 760 million lei, those accumulated by the Customs Service - by 1.4 billion lei, and other revenues were higher by 1.3 billion lei.
The official says that the budget system of the Republic of Moldova is already well formed, but there is room for improvement.
Ion Chicu also stated that, although the maximum share of the tax on the income of individuals decreased from 18% to 12%, and the individual personal exemption increased from 11,940 lei to 24,000 lei per year, the receipts to the local budgets exceeded the planned figure with 205 million lei, while compared with 2018, they increased by 51 million lei.
