Find out Moldova’s representative at Eurovision 2022

We will soon find out the name of the person who will represent our country at the international stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. This will be announced at 19:00, in the MESAGER on Moldova 1 TV, reports TRM.MD.

There was a warm atmosphere in Studio 2 of the public station Moldova 1 TV, where the 28 participants registered in the national stage performed one by one. Even though the stage of the LIVE auditions this year excluded spectacular elements such as a show, ballet, decorations or special effects, the competition is exciting, the performers' expectations are high.

At the beginning of the LIVE auditions, the composition of the jury was announced: Geta Burlacu - performer; Vali Boghean - singer-songwriter; Cristina Scarlat - performer; Victoria Cuşnir - journalist; Aliona Moon - singer.

The jury will decide the winner of the national stage of Eurovision Moldova 2022, which will be made public in Saturday's edition of the MESAGER news programm.

As many as 28 songs were admitted to the competition:

The list of participants can be accessed on the portal www.eurovision.md.

Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova" (TRM) organized LIVE auditions in which the song that will represent our country at the international stage Eurovision 2022 is decided. The event was broadcast LIVE on Moldova 2 TV and LIVE on trm.md. The performance of the performers can be watched on Youtube or on the Facebook pages: Eurovision Moldova, Teleradio-Moldova Company, Moldova 1, Moldova 2 and Radio Moldova.

This year, the Organizing Committee gave up the organization of the final stage due to the pandemic. In these conditions, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation, it was decided to designate the winner following the LIVE auditions.

The 66th edition of the Eurovision 2022 International Competition will take place on May 10-14, 2022 in Turin, Italy. The Republic of Moldova has been participating in ESC since 2005, notes TRM.MD.
