Volodymyr Zelensky, after today's attacks on Ukraine: "The Russian Federation has proven to everyone that it is a sponsor of terrorism"

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commented on today's bombing of Ukrainian cities by the Russian armed forces. According to him, 67 rockets would have been launched in several regions of Ukraine. In a video message published, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the Ukrainians who lost their loved ones following today's Russian attacks, the Ukrainian media writes.

"Today, the European Parliament finally recognized Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. We thank all European parliamentarians. And then Russia proved to the whole world that everything is true, using 67 missiles against infrastructure, energy and ordinary people," said Volodymyr Zelensky, quoted by Unian.

The President of Ukraine expressed his condolences to the Ukrainians who lost their loved ones as a result of today's bombings.

"The result is tragic - a large number of injured and dead. Please accept my condolences to all those who have lost relatives and friends. In terms of electricity and water supply, everything is working: energy companies, public utilities, local authorities. The task is set. We will restore all this and everything we go through, because we are an indestructible people. Thank you all, take care," he added.

It should be noted that, according to a report by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in the afternoon of November 23, Russia launched approximately 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 Kalibr cruise missiles over the territory of Ukraine. According to the cited source, Ukrainian defenders shot down 51 missiles and also destroyed five Lancet-type kamikaze drones in the south. Following the attack, several people were killed or injured.

After the bombing, emergency blackouts were applied throughout the country. The situation spread, including, to the Republic of Moldova, where massive disconnections from electricity were recorded. The authorities in Chisinau condemned the actions of the Russian Federation against the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Following the incident, the Russian ambassador to Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, was urgently summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
