The Presidents of the Parliaments of eight Baltic and Nordic States pay a joint official visit to the Republic of Moldova

Parliamentary Speakers from eight Baltic and Nordic states pay a joint official visit to Moldova, Radio Moldova reports.

The members of the delegations will have meetings with the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, and with the Presidents of the parliamentary factions. According to the press release of the Chisinau Legislature, the heads of parliament will hold a joint press conference.

The officials will also have a meeting with the Prime Minister, Natalia Gavriliţa, as well as with representatives of civil society.

Earlier, Lithuania's ambassador to Chisinau, Kestutis Kudzmanas, told Radio Moldova that the event on the meeting of the presidents of the eight Baltic and Nordic states in Chisinau was organised by Lithuania and is part of a series of actions to promote Moldova's image in the international arena.
