The first Eurovision semi final, live on Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova

The first stage of the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 (ESC) begins on Tuesday, May 10, with a show that brings together artists from 17 countries. Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova invite you to watch the first semifinal of this European music competition, live, starting at 22:00.

According to Eurovision, the 17 countries that will be represented on stage in Tuesday's semifinals are: Albania, Latvia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Lithuania, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Iceland and Greece.

The representatives of our country, the "Zdob and Zdub" Band and the Advahov brothers, will take the stage with the number 9.

Romania will compete in the second semifinal that will take place on Thursday, May 12.

Eurovision presenters will announce when the lines are open for voting. A jury made up of professionals from the music industry will also vote, and the jury's choice will represent 50% of the final result of the voting procedure.

The occupants of the first 10 positions in each semifinal will qualify for the final of the Eurovision 2022 competition, which will take place on Saturday evening.

So, watch the semifinals and the grand final of Eurovision live on Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova, on May 10, 12 and 14, starting at 22:00.
