CSS examined the actions of the state authorities in the issue of concession of Chisinau International Airport
The actions of the state authorities regarding the concession of Chisinau International Airport were examined in a new meeting of the Supreme Security Council (CSS), convened by President Maia Sandu, on the evening of Friday, December 4.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, during the meeting, the members of the CSS heard the representatives of the public institutions, which competence is to verify the situation regarding the concession of the Chisinau International Airport. They discussed the level of fulfillment of the recommendations made at the last CSS meeting on this topic, in February 2021.
Among the recommendations made by CSS is the completion of the process of assessing the damage caused by the concerted actions of state takeover of the Airport. It was also recommended that the security of this strategic object, which is a gateway to the country, implicitly the security of the citizens who use the services of the Airport, be ensured by institutions that do not depend financially on concessionaires.
