Gavriliţă government invested
The new Cabinet of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţă, was invested in the Presidency, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu. The swearing-in ceremony took place shortly after the plenary session, where the Gavriliţă Cabinet received the vote of confidence from the deputies.
The Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers vowed to give all their strength and skill to the Republic of Moldova, to respect the Constitution and the laws of the country, to defend democracy, fundamental human rights and freedoms, sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Moldova.
"Investing in an honest government, backed by an honest parliamentary majority, is what hundreds of thousands of people who went to the polls wanted. It is the culmination of the efforts of tens of thousands of people who have fought for democracy, justice and prosperity. Millions of people are watching you. The challenges are great, the expectations even higher. I will support you, Parliament will support you, you have the support of development partners, but it is very important that you also have the support of the citizens. I wish you to do your job with honor, dignity and a lot of courage. Good luck! ”, the president of the country, Maia Sandu, wished the members of the new Government.
"We will work selflessly and firmly to clean the state institutions of thieves and corruption, to make the state institutions work for the interests of the citizens. We will work to create jobs and for everyone to see in their family, in the locality, in society, the profound transformations you expect. We thank the President and colleagues from the PAS in the Parliament for the trust", said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavriliţă.
We remind that today, August 6, with the vote of 61 deputies, the Parliament gave a vote of confidence to the Activity Program "Moldova of Good Times" and to the entire list of the Government led by Natalia Gavriliţă.
According to the law, the Government exercises its attributions from the day of taking the oath by its members before the head of state.
