Igor Dodon and Jens Stoltenberg discussed the neutrality status of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon met in Brussels today with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg. Igor Dodon announced about it on his Facebook page.
"We reiterated that the constitutional status of permanent neutrality and the balanced foreign policy remain a basic priority for the leadership of the Republic of Moldova, since this implies the building of good neighborly relations with all international partners based on mutual respect", wrote the president.
Igor Dodon also wrote that the Republic of Moldova intends to recognize at international level the constitutional status of permanent neutrality.
The President of the Republic of Moldova pays a visit to Brussels. He has discussions with officials of the European institutions.
