The Russian Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, could return to Moldova
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu could return to Moldova this time on an official visit to discuss last week's unofficial proposals, including on a military cooperation agreement between the two states. The announcement was made by President Igor Dodon, reports Moldova 1.
Sergei Shoigu proposed during his visit on August 24, the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Moldova and Russia for a period of three years. Igor Dodon said that such proposals would be discussed in the Government, within the parliamentary majority.
Serghei Şoigu visited the Republic of Moldova at the initiative of Igor Dodon. In Chisinau, protests were organized against the visit of the Russian official, who was qualified by the Government as a private one, because it was not agreed with the Moldovan diplomacy.
