A new referral to the Constitutional Court
Democrat Deputy Sergiu Sârbu filed a petition to the Constitutional Court, asking them to interpret some of the provisions of the Constitution, including whether the perturbation of an institutional parliamentary blockade and a long-standing power vacuum in the case of the government's resignation is acceptable as a result of the validation of the new Legislative, in the case of the impossibility of forming the parliamentary majority and the impossibility of forming the Government, reports Moldova 1.
Sergiu Sarbu also specifies that the magistrates should revise the provisions of the Constitution if an acting Government is required to take all necessary measures to ensure the continuity of power, to ensure economic and financial security, to ensure the national security and defense capacity of the country in the event of a blockage of the parliamentary activity.
The Democrat asks the Constitutional Court to examine the referral urgently.
