After 18 years in the service of the state, he owns a house of over 400 square meters worth 2 million lei and with many controversial statements: "Crimea is Russia", "Krasnoselski is the president of Transnistria", "The Republic of Moldova needs a patriot like Putin "," Russia has practically no army on the territory of the Republic of Moldova ", all these were public statements of Dodon.
Politician Igor Dodon has been known to provoke controversy and heated discussion. Investigative journalists have revealed his luxurious vacation, suspicious relations with Russia's foreign intelligence services and dubious funding through tax havens, which he has always described as slander.
