Ialoveni: Flower planting campaign in the center of Suruceni village
The village of Suruceni in Ialoveni district has literally flourished. For the second year, the local authorities organize the planting of flowers in the squares in front of the town hall and the culture house, as well as in the spaces on the edge of the main streets of the village. As a result of these activities, people say, the town is becoming greener, more prosperous and more pleasant for its inhabitants and guests, Mesager reports.
Petru Belibov is only 13 years old and he wants to change something in his village. The boy hopes that the flowers he planted will be a source of joy for passers-by.
"You are not interested in this, you will not appreciate this. If you know that you did it with your own hands, it is painful to see when someone breaks down ", says the boy.
Those who participated in the planting of flowers hope that through this action as many people in the village will be sensitized to contribute to the preservation and care of the environment.
"In the village, we are just a family here. Suruceni is a family of people ”;
"I am just happy to be proud of what I do. But I will not do it, no one will do it, for example ”;
They planted potted chrisanthemums in order to arrange the territory in front of the culture house and the town hall.
"We chose the chrysanthemums because now they are beautiful, in order to beautify both the park and in the locality, we will plant more next year, because they are perennial ", says the mayor of Suruceni village, Sergiu Gorceac.
The flowers were bought from the local public budget and cost over 2,500 lei.
