Residents of Slobozia Mare and Giurgiulesti will benefit from a renovated road
Over eight thousand inhabitants from the villages of Slobozia Mare and Giurgiulesti will benefit from a renovated road. The total value of the works is over 18 million euros, and the money is granted from the loan offered to the Government of the Republic of Moldova by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Radio Moldova reports.
"The project envisages the reconstruction of the road of over 18 kilometers, which will have two lanes and two roundabouts will be arranged. Construction works will be carried out on bridges, sidewalks and drainage systems, about a thousand road signs will be installed and three stations for public transport will be built ", informed the deputy director of the State Road Administration (ASD), Iulian Mornealo.
The deputy director of ASD mentioned that this road will modernize the infrastructure in the area and will increase road safety.
