December 25 - deadline for paying wealth tax
The State Tax Service informs that all taxpayers must pay the wealth tax by December 25.
Property tax applies to individuals who own residential real estate and holiday cottages (excluding land) whose cumulative value is estimated: to 1.5 million lei or more and have a total area of 120 m2 .
Taxpayers identified until November 1, 2018 as subjects of wealth tax have been informed of the amount of the wealth tax to be paid by means of payment notices, which were sent by December 10th.
If the wealth tax is not paid by 25 December, a delay increase of 0.0329% per day will be applied for each day of delay.
