In six decades, Moldova 1 TV has written its history and is constantly active. It is close to people and their needs. Since April 30, 1958, the public television station came up with the latest news, entertainment shows, life stories, stories, large-scale concerts or documentaries and more. April 30 is a special day for the employees of the Public Broadcaster that marks 64 years of activity.

Vera Mereuţă has been active in Moldova 1 TV, almost since the beginning of the public television broadcasting. The "golden voice" of the radio presented the show "The Evening Story" broadcast at 20.45, it was liked by children. She remembers with nostalgia how the shows in Moldova 1 TV were previously moderated and directed.

"Obviously the technology was different from what we have today. A doll's head was drawn, a child's head with big eyes, eyelashes and from behind the assistant or the director had to move the eyelashes and sing ", Vera Mereuţă tells us.

Tamara Berzoi came to Moldova 1 TV in 1967. In 15 years of activity at the public station, she presented various programs, as well as newsreels. For at least 10 years, she moderated the show "For You, Dear Women."

"All of them here remind me of previous shows, all of them remind me of my youth, of the joint shows I had with so many reporters and editors. Every time I watch the public television broadcasts with great emotion. There are some very good shows with presenters who are very passionate about what they do ", confesses Tamara Berzoi.

The new generation at Moldova 1 TV wants public television to remain independent and always at the service of viewers.

"Television represents for us the transition to a new stage in history, to a modern stage, when information becomes accessible to all. What television has taught me is to be more responsible, to think before I speak ", says Radu Osipov, Moldova 1 TV reporter.

"It's been 18 years since I've been trying to bring information and present special life stories. It was this show that shaped me as a personality, it helped me become more tolerant, more thoughtful, it taught me to control my emotions ", confesses Daniela Crudu, presenter of "Buna Dimineata " show.

"For me, Moldova 1 TV means a place where I feel at home. I come here with great pleasure every day. It's the place where I grew up the most. You are born or become a TV man. You need small innate skills, which if you develop them you become a very, very good TV man ", says Doina Stimpovschi, presenter of the show "Cine vine la noi".

"Television means a lot of challenges, as well as a lot of responsibilities. That is why we, at Moldova 1 every day try to do our job with professionalism and determination and to reflect the realities in which we all live ”, says the presenter of Moldova 1 TV, Leanca Laşco.

The first show on Moldova 1 TV was broadcast on April 30, 1958, at 19:00, and was moderated by actresses Constanţa Târţău and Ariadna Kazanskaia.
