Arcadie Gherasim, elected chairman of the Supervisory and Development Board of TRM
Journalist Arcadie Gherasim is the new chairman of the Supervisory and Development Council (CSD) of the Public Broadcaster „Teleradio-Moldova”. The decision was taken, by unanimous vote, by the members of the CSD. The information was confirmed for TRM.MD by Cristian Jardan, a member of this board.
Also in today's meeting, November 29, Sergiu Stanciu was voted as secretary of the CSD. His candidacy was unanimously supported by votes.
Arcadie Gherasim is a graduate of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism Department, State University of Moldova (USM). He worked as a reporter for two decades at "Teleradio-Moldova", head of department, editor-in-chief of the Radio Moldova News and general manager of TV Moldova. Since 2001, Arcadie Gherasim has been a lecturer at USM's Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences. Distinguished with the Honorary Diploma of the Republic of Moldova, he has the honorary title "Emeritus man of the Republic of Moldova".
On November 25, the Parliament appointed seven new members of the Supervisory and Development Board of the Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova". The new members of the CSD have been appointed for a period of six years.
