Meteorological warning! A cyclone is heading towards Moldova that will bring strong snow
A southern cyclone is heading towards Moldova that will bring strong snow, combined with rain and sleet, wind and blizzards. The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) today issued a yellow code warning of complicated conditions of the weather, reports TV Moldova 1.
The warning will take effect on January 10th and will be valid until Friday, January 11th. At this time, according to meteorologists, heavy rainfall will be 15-20 liters per square meter.
In the context, the PGI's National Patrol Inspectorate urges drivers on the road to be vigilant, to travel at a speed that can safely stop and use daytime and nighttime lights.
At the same time, long-distance drivers are advised to have a full tank, water for 24 hours, food, a blanket, tea thermos, a loaded phone and, obviously, a medical kit.
