Boris Gîlcă: Unvaccinated teachers from Chisinau will be tested for free
Unvaccinated teachers in Chisinau will be tested free of charge, starting today. This was announced by the interim head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health of the Chisinau City Hall, Boris Gîlcă, during the show "Room for Dialogue" on Radio Moldova.
"In Chisinau, the free testing of unvaccinated teachers begins. We have the list received from the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports. In parallel, it is a process of organizing a tender for the procurement of a larger lot, probably around 30,000 tests, for the testing process," said Boris Gîlcă.
According to the latest data from Chisinau City Hall, so far, 80% of teachers in educational institutions in the municipality have been immunized.
