COVID-19 in Moldova: 307 new cases confirmed

Another 307 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in Moldova, of which 13 in the Transnistrian region. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), three cases are imported, two from Germany and one from the Russian Federation.

Of the total number of cases, 13 are among healthcare workers: 3 doctors, 10 nurses.

To date, 15,174 people have been treated with COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of other deaths caused by COVID-19:

Death 714: 66-year-old man from Transnistria. Hospitalized on July 3, at the hospital in Transnistria. Comorbidities: heart failure, diabetes, obesity.

Death 715: 69-year-old man from Anenii-Noi district. Hospitalized on July 16, at the Anenii-Noi District Hospital. Comorbidities: hypertensive heart disease, ischemic, diabetes, hypertension gr. III.

Death 716: 68-year-old woman from Chisinau. Admitted on July 19 to the Institute of Emergency Medicine. Comorbidities: diabetes, hypertensive and dysmetabolic heart disease, obesity.

Death 717: 58-year-old man from Taraclia district. Transferred, on June 26, from Taraclia District Hospital to the Institute of Emergency Medicine. Comorbidities: renal failure, chronic pancreatitis.

Death 718: 71-year-old woman from Chisinau. Hospitalized on July 21, at the Institute of Emergency Medicine. Comorbidities: hypertensive heart disease, hypertension gr. II.

Death 719: 51-year-old man from Călăraşi district. Hospitalized on July 9, at the Municipal Clinical Hospital . Comorbidities: hypertension, chronic pancreatitis, chronic undercompensated hypertensive heart.

The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 22,105 cases.
